High Dynamic Range

I believe I can fly

Dont forget to flush your #$% or you mom will kick you *&^

In image processing, computer graphics, and photography, high dynamic range imaging (HDRI or just HDR) is a set of techniques that allows a greater dynamic range of luminances between light and dark areas of a scene than normal digital imaging techniques. The intention of HDRI is to accurately represent the wide range of intensity levels found in real scenes ranging from direct sunlight to shadows. (wikipedia)

There has been a lot of buzz recently about HDR photography, but many people assume that it's only limited to professional photographers. The reality is that just about anyone can take and process an HDR photo with most cameras and proper HDR software. (abduzeedo)

Im so lazy for this week and do not go for the outing. Maybe I want to take a rest before I go back to UMS. So I decide no outing for this week but I still shoot any subject in or near my house. Refer to Mr.Nasier and Mr.Rahim photos of HDR, so I decided to study on it and pictures above is the result.

Speechless About Street

Street photography is a type of documentary photography that features subjects in candid situations within public places such as streets, parks, beaches, malls, political conventions, and other settings.

Street photography uses the techniques of straight photography in that it shows a pure vision of something, like holding up a mirror to society. Street photography often tends to be ironic and can be distanced from its subject matter and often concentrates on a single human moment, caught at a decisive or poignant moment. On the other hand, much street photography takes the opposite approach and provides a very literal and extremely personal rendering of the subject matter, giving the audience a more visceral experience of walks of life they might only be passingly familiar with.(source from wikipedia)

After done my reflection assignment,I decide go for the street photography. At the time when I was snap pictures, I gain many expecience and meet many people and yes I know why all my mentor said "be brave" when it comes to street photography.

Broken Reflection

Photographing your subject as a reflection is an excellent way to add tension and instantly create interesting composition in your photograph. Try water reflection pictures or mirror reflection photos (wikipedia). Last sunday I outing with Mr. Luqman and Miss Nurul, two loving couple and at the same time with Jebat.net members.

Last saturday I meet senior photographers and look at their works and Im a bit jelous so that I decide outing and improve my reflection. Before this, I always snap without realise the reflection of the object and thanks to Mr. Azlan because keep remind me on it.

Refer to Mr. Azlan and Mr. Paulson pictures, I decide to play with the reflection. From the pictures above, first picture I snap in a very low angle. I like it because I managed to snap two subject that was reflection and sunset. But my picture of the day is the second picture. Why? because it remind me when I was in childhood. Suddenly I saw this boy near the sea and snap his picture. Playing near the sea and keep shouted "bapa, mari bha sini bawa aku berenang".
